I'm trying to figure out how this downturn of the century will affect me. Most of my contacts are outside the U.S., so they might consider me "cheap" as the dollar falls on its knees. But the majority of my work comes from the IT industry in America. They have to be able to sell software to generate enough revenues before they try to tap on the international audience. So I predict I'm going to be hit more or less, sooner or later. Tourism will go down considerably but I'm not dependent on it anyway.

What I'd like to see disappear is crappy box-office American movies and all greedy people making money with other people's money. Oh, the restaurant industry will suffer big time. Not many people can afford to eat out, making the food culture go away. Wait a second, there was no food culture here in the States in the first place. Just fake people with busted taste buds pretending to have class was all there was.
