Feeling extremely drowsy after driving through the night, I exited the I-70 at 4AM and spent a few hours taking a nap in the middle of nowhere. When I woke up the sun was already intense. It took me 5 hours to Las Vegas after I got back on the road. It was very hot and humid. Moke didn't drink any water so I splashed him with water. He licked it. That probably lowered his body temperature as well.
Such a draining day but we made it to Las Vegas where we were greeted with a warm welcome by old friends. I'll spend two nights in Vegas before heading towards Los Angles on June 3.
