I live on the island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. This was the greatest move I ever made. So far away, yet so close....
It took me a while to notice a gecko in the picture. New pet? :-)
I didn't see it, either until I touched the flower. Geckos are cool!
Anthuriums! That's how you recognize that the planes from the French West Indies have landed in Paris. All the passengers carry anthuriums.
Michèle,I've learned many tropical plants are poisonous if eaten. Anthuriums are no exception. Sap from the plant irritates your skin. Beauty has its price...
I don't care much for the pink/red ones. However, I love the white ones.

Bought 4 of them for $15 at a garage sale. The white one attracted a reptile buddy.
